Manage materials across multiple warehouses with batch tracking, low stock alerts, supplier analytics, nomenclature linking and automatic updates on movements.
Without centralized inventory - materials run out unexpectedly, warehouses pile up with surplus, real project cost is a mystery.
Cement runs out on site, work stops. Low stock alerts warn before this happens.
Which supplier sells cheaper? Who delays? Built-in supplier analytics provides the answer.
Cement from different deliveries, each with its own expiry date - without batches you don't know which quantity is left from which delivery or how long it stays usable.
Material is in warehouse A but the site is near warehouse B. Without a per-warehouse view - a consolidated picture is impossible.
Construction Team offers detailed inventory management with integration into the full ERP stack.
A central catalog of stock positions linked to your nomenclature. Each position - stock on hand, min/max, location and supplier.
See positions that fall below their threshold, automatically flagged for the procurement team.
See stock in each warehouse and quickly find where a material is.
See each material batch - number, supplier, receipt date, expiry date and remaining quantity. If you pick no batch, an issue first takes the quantity held outside batches, then the unexpired batch expiring first.
Group materials by supplier to analyze prices, volumes and reliability.
Every material is linked to a nomenclature item. Changes in the central catalog propagate automatically.
Four steps to controlled inventory:
Mark which nomenclature items are tracked in inventory and which aren't.
An item you have set to track batches gets a batch on a stock receipt, entered manually or received against a purchase order. Other items are kept by stock quantity only.
Quantities update on every movement, and batches change on a receipt, an issue or a transfer. Low stock detected in real time.
Supplier analytics shows top suppliers. Low stock alerts drive timely orders.
Suitable for any construction firm with active warehouse:
See what needs ordering and from which supplier. Data-driven decisions.
Control every item, every batch, every warehouse.
Know what's available when planning site work.
Project cost based on the weighted average price in each warehouse.
Why Excel isn't enough for inventory:
| Feature | Excel | Construction Team |
|---|---|---|
| Centralization | Sheets | Unified catalog |
| Low stock | Manual check | Auto alerts |
| Batches | Impossible | Expiry date and remainder per batch |
| Multi-warehouse | Sheets per warehouse | Unified view |
| Supplier analytics | Pivot tables | Supplier analytics by warehouse |
| Nomenclature sync | Manual | Auto via nomenclature link |
| Real-time stock | Refresh file | Auto update |
You see each batch - number, supplier, receipt date, expiry date and remainder. When you pick no batch, an issue starts from the quantity held outside batches, then takes the unexpired batch expiring first, then those with no expiry date, and expired batches come last. The price on a batch comes from its receipt, while cost is the weighted average in each warehouse.
Stock below the configured minimum. The system lists items that need reordering and flags them automatically on the dashboard.
Yes. You see stock per warehouse for any material. Useful for multi-site firms.
Each stock item is linked to a nomenclature item. Central catalog changes propagate automatically to stock.
Yes. Enabling serial-number tracking on a nomenclature item tracks each unit individually (e.g. equipment, tools).
Materials are grouped by supplier, so you see total volume, average prices and delivery count per supplier.
Yes, via batch import from Excel. Useful for migrating from old system.
